Baby booties are one of the most popular gifts from grandparents, especially grandmothers, to new parents. Normally the grandmother has spent the last weeks or even months preparing them.

Baby booties are also a very good substitute for normal shoes for infants. Since infants aren’t able to walk or stand, they don’t really need shoes to protect their feet. They just need something that keeps their feet warm. That’s all.

Almost all grandmothers like to knit something cute for their grandchildren. Knitting baby booties is very popular. They are quite small and therefore doesn’t take too much time and they look very cute.

Knitting baby booties is no problem, since you can find the baby booties pattern about everywhere today.

Just remember that the most important thing with baby clothes is that the clothes are comfortable and that they keep the child warm. That’s about all they need to do.

If the baby booties aren’t comfortable, they shouldn’t be used. It doesn’t matter how cute they are for the child. Only the comfort and the warm keeping capability is important.
